Account Deletion Instructions

This page explains how a Watch This Garage ("WTG") user can request deletion of their account and related personal data.

Delete your account from the application

1. Sign in to your WTG account.
2. Open the user settings screen.
3. Find the account deletion section.
4. Enter the required confirmation phrase and your current password.
5. Confirm the deletion request.

After completion, the application signs the user out and anonymizes personal data associated with the account.

If you cannot access the account

1. Send a message to support@watchthisgarage.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".
2. Provide enough information to identify your account, preferably the email address assigned to the account and your username.
3. If you contact us from a different email address or cannot complete in-app confirmation, we may ask for additional verification to protect your data.

What happens after the request

WTG deletes or anonymizes personal data associated with the user account unless retention is required by applicable law, security obligations, fraud prevention, or the need to preserve the integrity of ownership and project records.

Data that may remain in the service

Project, vehicle, ownership, collaboration, and vehicle history records may remain attached to the relevant vehicle or platform records, but the active user profile is removed and personal data is anonymized.

Requests concerning selected data only

If you want WTG to delete only selected personal data without removing the whole account, describe the request in your message to support.
